Carly + Jordan are married! You may remember Carly + Jordan from their engaging photography session at Sunnidale Park in Barrie a few months ago. An adorable couple with an adorable story that started years ago at a lemonade stand in Mariposa Market. Their love is as sweet and refreshing as lemonade on a hot summer’s day. This is their wedding story.
We met Carly and the ladies in the bridal suite at Hidden Valley Resort in Huntsville, Ontario. The ladies were finishing their hair & make-up and excitedly chatting about the events to come. Carly, with tears glistening in her eyes, tenderly read a card from her beau, then slipped into her gorgeous gown. Then, it was down the hall to see Jordan, the guys and their cute-as-a-button ring bearers as they suited up. Jordan read his love letter from Carly, then put on his dapper white jacket on the balcony. It was time for the main event.
Carly + Jordan had long decided on an indoor ceremony (which was an excellent decision in hindsight) because the rain was relentless. Thankfully, Hidden Valley has a beautiful location for an indoor ceremony with lots of natural light beaming in through the windows. Carly + Jordan exchanged vows and rings, while family and friends watched with huge smiles. The two were pronounced husband and wife, then shared a kiss to thunderous applause. We gathered the entire group together for a portrait, then headed out to the covered front walkway of the resort for photos.
Once the creative session with the family, bridal party and couple was complete, the two headed into the reception hall for the grand entrance. This was immediately followed by speeches and dinner. After Carly + Jordan thanked the guests for coming, they headed over to the majestic structure designed like the Eiffel Tower to cut their cake (situated at the top of the tower). Once they tasted the delicious dessert baked by Jordan’s sister, they headed onto the dance floor for their first dance and parent dances. Party time! Finally, the storm subsided, so we rushed outside for a quick photo shoot with Carly + Jordan on the dock by the water. We could see more rain clouds coming our way, so we made our way back to the party to end the night.
