When we first met Dan + Danni at our home, we instantly liked them. They are such a fun-loving and outgoing couple with an incredible sense of humour. We just knew we were going to have an amazing time with them on their special day. This is their wedding story.
PREPARATION
We started the day with Dan and the boys at a friend’s home in Innisfil, ON. The guys were decked out in their suits, suspenders and super hero socks, all prepped to toast the day. Dan read his card and opened the gift from his bride-to-be. Meanwhile, Danni was at their new home near Barrie, finishing her hair and make-up. Before, she slipped into her gorgeous gown, she took a moment to read a card from Dan and open her gift. Dan arrived with his groomsmen and the couple shared in a first look amongst their adorable furry friends and family. Then, it was time to get married!
CEREMONY
All the guests arrived at Tangle Creek Golf and Country Club in Barrie, ON. Everyone was super excited to see the couple! The room filled with anticipation as the ceremony commenced. “Bride security” led the way, as Danni walked down the aisle to meet her man. The ceremony was filled with laughter and happy tears, as Dan + Danni recited their vows. Moments later, the two were pronounced husband and wife.
CREATIVE SESSION
It was a cold, blustery November day, so we would have brief, outdoor creative sessions with the family, bridal party and couple, then everyone would run inside for warmth, then come back out again. While photographs were taking place, guests mingled in the foyer and snacked on hot food. After a chilly ride around the course on the golf cart, we made our way back to the club house for the grand entrance.
RECEPTION
Everyone held their glow sticks in the air, in honour of those who serve and protect. The glowing lights lit the way as Dan + Danni entered. The couple shared in a sweet first dance, then it was time for a toast and blessing. The night was filled with humorous anecdotes, delicious food, emotional speeches, and a grooving violinist that encouraged everyone to get up (and get down!) on the dance floor. Once, Dan + Danni thanked everyone for coming, they cut their cake and danced with their loved ones. It was a fun night!
