We love Marlo and Matt. Period. That is all.
Why you ask? Um, because they are two of the kindest, most wonderful people we’ve ever met. Plus, they are super fun! And … to top it all off, Matt and his friends know how to do one seriously incredible basketball dance. It is the coolest thing ever! One of those, you have to see it to believe it kind of moments. The Harlem Globetrotters better watch out, ’cause Sachkiw and the gang are in town! New Lowell in the house!
Not only are they great dance ballers, they all play a mean game of ball hockey. In fact, Marlo + Matt play on the same ball hockey team. It would’ve been great to get her out there with a stick, but we wouldn’t want to wrinkle her gorgeous gown.
We met Matt and the guys at his friend’s home where they were all getting ready. After watching the Jays game for a couple of innings, the guys headed outside with sticks and ball in tow for a quick game of street hockey. Fun!
Then, we headed over to their house to meet up with the ladies. Marlo, and her bridesmaids, sported the cutest personalized robes, as they sipped champagne and toasted the big day. Once, Marlo slipped on her dress and shoes, they were ready to go.
The ceremony and reception were both held at Tangle Creek Golf & Country Club in Barrie. The lovely and talented Ingrid Cochrane, from Image One Twenty-Six Photography, joined us for the ceremony and creative session. It was great having an extra set of hands and eyes.
Everyone had an amazing time celebrating the official Sachberry union (they even have their own signature drink creation with the same name). What a beautiful day!
