Kori + Gareth | Wedding Photography Fusion in Parry Sound, ON
We have really been looking forward to this wedding day, since the moment we first met Kori + Gareth back in February. Come rain or shine, Kori wanted to have an outdoor wedding at the cottage. And that’s exactly what she got! What a beautiful day!
Melanie Potter, Gareth’s mom, was the brilliant designer and florist responsible for the gorgeous decor at the cottage. She did an exceptional job!
We started the day off at the main cottage to get some set-up shots of the event. We were, then, whisked away on a pontoon boat across Horseshoe Lake to meet the guys. They were chillaxin’ by the dock, laughing and having a great time. Then, they headed up the steep hill to the “Hilton” cottage to suit up for the ceremony.
We rode back to the main cottage to get final shots of the ladies getting ready, then it was time for the main event. It was a lovely ceremony, followed by a group shot on the dock.
While all the guest enjoyed cocktail hour in the tent, we held our creative session on the other side of the cottage. After getting some great family and bridal party shots, everyone walked to the tent for the special dances, speeches, cake cutting and dinner. It was a fun all-night party and everyone had a great time!
The next day, we headed back to the cottage, to shoot their Rock The Dress session. Kori + Gareth wanted to wakeboard on Horseshoe Lake. So, they gathered up their rescue crew (on jet skis), their driver and headed out to the water. They skimmed over the lake on their boards and Gareth even performed tricks in the air! This was followed by a jaunt to Gibraltar, where Kori + Gareth climbed the rocks and jumped off the cliff! What an incredible session!
Thank you Kori + Gareth for inviting us along to capture your adventure. We had an amazing time!
Huge thanks to our intern for the day, Eric, for all his help.
