Alex + Jacqui | Wedding Film at Abtan Bay in Orillia, ON

We met with Alex + Jacqui (and their dog, Arf) back in June, when they came to us looking for someone to film their wedding day. Recently, Alex watched his bar mitzah video from years ago, and was reminded of the significance of capturing such memorable moments. We totally admired how he valued the importance of hiring someone to film his wedding. We, also, were intrigued by their beautiful love story. So much so, that we jumped at the opportunity to share their engagement story with the world by producing a short film for them. After watching their story, how can you not love Alex + Jacqui?

Their wedding took place at Abtan Bay, a charming, little cottage owned by Alex’s sister and her husband. They were thrilled to host the event. We arrived as all the caterers were bustling about preparing all the food and beverages for the big day. Sidenote: They did an excellent job! The food was delicious!

It was such an amazing experience to film this wedding! There were so many magnificent and time-honoured traditions to the day – the signing of the ketubah, the ceremony under the chuppah, the mezinka – and you could sense, not only the love of Alex + Jacqui, but that of their friends and family for the happy couple. It was a beautiful wedding and an amazing party, as everyone danced (and sang) the night away!

Thank you Alex + Jacqui for finding us and letting us share your story! Mazel Tov!

We need more people like them in the world just like we need more people like Paul and Melanie! Well done to all on this one! Congrats! Xoxo
