Addison + Jenn | Wedding Film in Kleinburg, ON

When Addison and Jenn first contacted us, they told us that their wedding was on October 17th. We thought it was a mistake. It was a Monday. We must’ve checked the date a thousand times. Most people, typically, get married on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Never a Monday. Well, when we chatted with them they explained that they, along with many of their family and friends, work and serve in church; therefore, their weekends are spent serving God, while Monday is their day off. This is why they chose to marry on a Monday.

We set up a meeting with Addison + Jenn at a Starbucks in Vaughan, ON a little while back. While ordering a coffee, Jenn and I briefly bumped into one another in line and I remember returning to my seat and saying to Paul, “I hope that’s Jenn. She’s the kindest girl.” And to our delight, it was!!

Addison + Jenn are immediately likeable. You can’t help but adore them. They both share a fun, gentle spirit that invites conversation. We had an amazing time chatting about camping, musical theatre, camera gear and God. Good times!

That evening, we learned about a special song that Addison wrote while at Tyndale University College and Seminary. This original piece was written for his future wife, and was titled, “You’re My Mango.” In the lyrics, he sings about how the most worthwhile mangoes are the highest to reach, but if you are blessed enough to reach the top of tree to get that mango, it is the sweetest fruit. It’s like waiting for that right person to come along to spend the rest of your life with you. It is a beautiful song that he wrote before he even met Jenn, his mango for life. Little did he know that the mango that God saved for him was right around the corner.

Addison + Jenn love to praise the Lord through song! In fact, they met while singing on the same worship team. They decided to incorporate their love of music and God, by celebrating His glory in a worship concert throughout the ceremony. They held their ceremony at Cornerstone Community Church in Kleinburg, ON. This was the most amazing ceremony we have ever witnessed. Addison + Jenn are very creative, as are their friends, which is why they decided to incorporate a variety of artistic expressions into their ceremony. A painter was invited to paint artwork on a canvas, while a ballerina gracefully glided onstage with an awesome worship team providing accompaniment. Then, Addison + Jenn jumped onstage to sing the Lord’s praises with their rendition of Israel and New Breed’s “You Are Good.” It was amazing! They are both truly gifted with musical talent.

After their worship-filled ceremony, we traveled over to Le Jardin in Woodbridge, ON to end the evening with an incredible reception. Addison + Jenn placed a canvas on each table, so that people could create art. A photo booth was set up in the corner with props and a scrapbook table for people to decorate their own pages in their wedding album. The music was pumping and everyone was out on the dance floor having a great time. You would never believe it was a Monday night!

No words can express how blessed we feel to call them our friends. They are an incredible couple and we are so happy to have them in our lives. Thank you Addison + Jenn for allowing us to enjoy your unbelievably awe-inspiring wedding day! May God bless your union and your lives!

Thanks to their photographer,Jamie Dimitry, and our assistant, Simone Maurice for making an already amazing day even more awesome! We had a great time!
